I love kale. I always buy the pre-packaged kale, baby kale, organic kale, kale shirts. You name it. Here is a wonderful recipe for baked Kale Chips. It's a delicious way to get the super food benefits and my kids LOVE it too!
1 bag kale (not baby kale) or 1 bunch organic kale
2-3 Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Put kale in a bag or large bowl. If you're using a bunch of kale, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel. Grasp the stalk and put your hand over all the leaves on the stalk and gently pull, the leaves will come right off my daughter loves to do this part (above.) #proudfitmom
Drizzle olive oil on it, shake in bag or toss in bowl to completely coat kale leaves
Bake at 300 degrees for 10-15 minutes Check often. It's done when the leaves look dry - not oily. Slightly brown is good, they'll be crunchier like chips. Enjoy!
